Catherine Bradley

Catherine Bradley is a board member with the FICC Markets Standard Board, is Chairman of the Audit Committee with PSA Peugeot Citroen and is a NED for the FCA. Prior to her appointment she was Head of Equity Advisory Asia Pacific at Societe General since 2013.
Previously, Catherine worked at Credit Suisse from 2003-2012 where for the last four years she was Head of the Equity-Linked Solutions Group Asia Pacific and before that Head of Derivatives Coverage for UK Corporates and Government as well as European Financial Sponsors. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Catherine worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein from 2000-2003 as Head of Block Monetisations and Convertible Teams. Martha Brass

Martha Brass is a senior executive with 30 years of experience across commercial, operational and strategy roles in the media and consumer goods sectors and has recently made a change to focus on a portfolio career, spanning entertainment and sports.
Martha is the Non-Executive Chair of Antidote Productions, a specialist factual producer of smart, populist and distinctive programming. Antidote was launched in 2015 and in June 2017 the company received investment from the Edge Creative Enterprise Fund. In addition, Martha is the Senior Independent Director on the board of England Golf, the amateur governing body responsible for growing the game of golf in England. She has also recently been appointed to the board of CountryLine, the new online fan club for country music, which launches in the UK this spring ahead of a global roll out later in 2018.
From 2009 to 2017 she held a number of senior roles at Endemol / Endemol Shine Group, including CEO International Operations, Interim CEO Shine France and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Endemol, Martha was Managing Director of Amaze TV (2008) and Executive Vice President, Television at 19 Entertainment (2004-2007). From 1998 to 2003 while at FremantleMedia, Martha’s executive roles included Interim COO FM North America, COO FM Southern Europe, Commercial Director FM Production and Commercial and Finance Director FM International.

Theresa is currently non-Executive Director (and member of Audit, Remco and Reserving Committees) for Managing Agency Partners Limited, a Lloyd’s catastrophe underwriter and for Starr Insurance (Europe) Limited, the European subsidiary of CV Starr, where she also sits on Risk Committee and chairs Remco. She also is a trustee of Little Sparta, a Scottish arts trust, and on the iNED Committee of the Worshipful Company of Insurers.
Before going plural at the start of 2017, Theresa had been Interim Director of Performance at Lloyd’s of London. There she was responsible for all aspects of the business performance of that £34bn marketplace and the c. 90 businesses which made it up, including approving business plans, setting and initiating improvements in standards and identifying areas of development for the market. She also undertook a strategic review of all oversight functions of Lloyd’s to streamline these, improve market interaction and eliminate duplication. She had spent seven years at Lloyd’s, previously being responsible for monitoring the underwriting performance of the market and improving standards.
Theresa had developed expertise in the reinsurance sector after ten years as Managing Director at Swiss Reinsurance Company in Zurich, where was responsible for managing a numbe of worldwide teams. Having started there in private equity, she had also taken other senior responsibilities including managing the structured reinsurance business of the Group and reporting to the CEO and leading a major global change initiative.

Fiona Hathorn is the Managing Director of Women on Boards UK and is a Trustee of the medical research charity Fight for Sight.
Formerly Fiona was a director of Old Mutual Asset Management and Hill Samuel Asset Management, running the Global Equities and Emerging Markets Desks respectively.
Women on Boards UK is an action-oriented social enterprise supporting women leverage their professional skills and experience into non-executive director and other board-level roles. She sets the overall Go-To-Market strategy and leads all GE Digital Marketing activities in Europe across all GE business units. She supports customers across various industries in defining their own Digital Industrial Transformation as well as she brings Digital Transformation into the Marketing organization for business growth.
Simone was born and raised in Germany. She attended the University of Karlsruhe and graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management.

Julianne retrained as a Business Psychologist after a four year parental career break with her two children. Jay Scanlan serves as the Head of Global Growth Ecosystems. Jay was most recently a Partner at McKinsey & Company where he worked for 17 years. He co-founded and co-led McKinsey’s global Digital Strategy and Organization Service Line. He re-joined their London Office in 2007 and then focused his attention on clients in the high-tech, media and telecoms space across five continents – as well as leading McKinsey’s relationship with several large European private equity players.

Derek Smith

Derek Smith is a qualified accountant and has worked for UBS for 25 years in various positions in London, Zurich, Hyderabad and Krakow.
Derek was the CFO and Business Manager for UBS’ Private Equity business for 8 years. He joined Group Offshoring in 2005 and was first based in India for a year, where he was part of a team setting up the UBS India Service Centre in Hyderabad. In 2007 he moved to Krakow in Poland took on the role of CEO of the UBS Poland Service Centre. In 2010 he was appointed the Head of the Offshore Service Centres, including Poland and India and consisting of over 500 employees and contractors. From 2011 Derek was based in Zurich and worked on the Too Big To Fail program developing the Global Recovery Plan for UBS, and on project Accelerate, a major repositioning of UBS’ investment bank. In 2013 he returned to offshoring and outsourcing, responsible for a global change program covering external suppliers and internal service centers. Derek is now Global Head of Outsourcing, Nearshoring and Offshoring Enablement and Governance for UBS.
He is a founder and board member of ABSL, the Poland offshoring & outsourcing Association, the founder of the Women’s Business Network in Krakow and co-head of Diversity and Inclusion for the UBS COO area, which covers 40,000 people and a member of the UBS Global Diversity and Inclusion Council

Reshma Sohoni

Reshma has always combined technology and business, from university to today. Getting degrees in both Engineering and Business (UPenn M&T) meant that from an early age she was cultivating a path that would always bring business and technology together.
Early on in her career during the height of the dot com boom, Reshma worked in M&A and venture capital across B2B Software and Internet services businesses in the US and India. She had a small helping hand in building MakeMyTrip (NASDAQ) in its formative days.
Following on from this, Reshma went to INSEAD and earned her MBA, fell in love with Europe and stayed on to work in Commercial and Marketing Strategy at Vodafone.

In March 2017, Ms Toulan retired from BofAML. Based in London, she had been responsible for the loan syndicate and private side loan distribution business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and across a wide range of sectors including investment grade and non-investment grade corporates, financial institutions, emerging markets and infrastructure finance.
Ms Toulan joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in late 2008 as head of EMEA leverage loan syndicate. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as a senior leader in JPMorgan’s loan syndication business in London. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Ms Toulan led Baring Private Equity Partners capital raising efforts out of the US. She also spent several years with the International Finance Corporation where she was responsible for global distribution of primary bond and equity issues. She began her career at Chemical Bank in NY where she held various positions in syndications, leveraged finance and client management.

Sarah Wilson

Sarah studied Engineering at Cambridge, gaining a PhD in Navigation Systems and a Diploma in Design, Manufacture, and Management. She joined the automotive industry, and held leadership roles in manufacturing, programme management, and strategy in the UK, US and Japan, before she joined McKinsey & Company. Here, she helps clients design and implement major change programmes to transform operations effectiveness, productivity, and cost. She aligns technical solutions with the culture and leadership required to accelerate and sustain improvements – while making work more purposeful and rewarding. She has worked in FMCG, basic materials, transport & logistics, oil & gas, healthcare, telecom, and private equity. She is currently leading work to optimise McKinsey’s internal Senior Leadership development and appointment strategy and systems.
Sarah also works as and a coach, speaker, and faculty member in leadership-development. She is one of the design and delivery team for McKinsey’s Remarkable Women Programme in the UK, and for the Women Up initiative in Sweden, initiated by Hillary Clinton’s International Council on Women’s Business Leadership (ICWBL).

Lucy Kellaway is the co-founder of Now Teach which she set up in 2016 with Katie Waldegrave. See http://nowteach.org.uk/
Since September 2017, Lucy has been a trainee maths teacher, part of the first cohort of Now Teach trainees.
She previously spent 30 years as a journalist on the Financial Times, and nearly 10 as a non-executive director of Admiral insurance. Prior to this, after graduating from Oxford with a degree in PPE, she worked for JP Morgan.

Partner, Ridgeway Partners
Sue joined Ridgeway Partners as a partner in 2015 to lead the retail and HR practices, and work with the board practice team. Previously Chief Executive and a board member of a listed search firm, she has over 17 years’ experience as a practitioner in board advisory services. Her work within the search industry has focused on board and non executive appointments in FTSE and AIM listed businesses. With an early career in retail, she was a managing director of a leisure business in the early nineties. She moved into executive search in 1998.
In addition to her role at Ridgeway Partners, Sue is a board member of Walpole British Luxury, a non executive director of MK-LF partners, a founder member of The Women’s Business Council, and a trustee for KidsOut children’s charity. In January 2014, she was awarded an OBE for services to charity and for promoting equality in the workplace. In September 2015, she took up a role on the Board of the Chartered Management Institute, and she is also a member of the International Women’s Federation.
