Ms. Winnie Bügel is a seasoned international executive with 25 years of experience in the food and biotech sectors. She has been involved in turnarounds and the successful transformation of a large publicly listed company in Denmark. Throughout her executive career, she has led complex transactions and integrations, gaining significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and strategic growth initiatives.
Ms. Bügel has successfully overseen a broad range of functional areas closely connected to core business operations, including addressing the challenges of international market expansion, regulatory barriers, and building globally sustainable organisations.
With extensive experience advising Executive Management and Boards of Directors, Ms. Bügel possesses practical expertise in board leadership, corporate governance, and diversity. Today, she serves as a professional board member and holds the IDP-C (Certificate in Corporate Governance) from INSEAD. She also has a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and a Graduate Diploma in International Trade from Copenhagen Business School.
