What interests me about product management? Coming from the consumer goods industry and brand management, I’m excited by the growth of tech and the possibility of creating solutions to issues people don’t even know they have.

My favourite piece of technology/app feature? Plates. It’s an app that helps you calculate how to split a check. Having lived in New York and organized many group dinners, I have used this app a countless number of times. The mechanics behind it are simple but it’s made eating out with friends much easier. The best part? It’s free!

What interests me about product management? I’m excited about the user-centric principle that is core in product management, and solving the unique puzzle of crafting solutions that truly serve the customer, are commercially viable and technically feasible all at the same time.

My favourite piece of technology/ favourite app feature? Vivino – an app that lets you search for wine info (ratings, origin, tasting notes etc.) by entering name or simply taking a photo of the label. As someone who enjoys wine in general but do not know a great deal about the technicalities, I have relied on this app many times to find the perfect $12 bottle of wine.

What interests me about product management? I am passionate about the effect technology can have on lives. There are parts of our lives completely transformed by technology every single day. Be it shopping on Amazon, accessing information on Google or using all those other apps on our phones for various use cases, we leverage technology to perform tasks each day that we can’t imagine doing any other way. Technology has the potential to change how we interact with the world around us. I find that really powerful.

My favourite piece of technology/favourite app feature? Perhaps I’m biased, but I love the experience of tapping a button on the Uber app and having a ride pull up in minutes. That magical experience is what attracted me to work there, and I still think it’s one of the best applications of smartphone technology around us.
