Alex Ruzicic

Aleks has been involved in the Swiss Alumni community since 2005 as a member of the Swiss Committee and President of the Swiss Healthcare Club. Aleks is also a co-founder and vice-president of the INSEAD Healthcare Alumni Network. After graduation from University of Zürich with a Master of Science in Chemistry, he has worked almost 20 years in consulting, starting at McKinsey & Company in 1994. Since 2000, he focused exclusively on the healthcare/life sciences sector at Elsevier MDL, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and IMS Consulting Group. As a Partner at Executive Insight, a specialist healthcare consultancy that supports (bio)pharmaceutical companies to successfully prepare, launch and commercialize their products, he advises international pharmaceutical/biotech, medical devices and other companies in the healthcare sector on strategic and operational topics, particularly in the commercial area. He has published his insights continuously in a series of reports and articles.

Arul Ramadurai

Zoë Billinghurst, MBA’02D

Zoë is Senior Global Director at Novo Nordisk responsible for the commercial team managing new assets in rare blood disorders. Since joining Novo Nordisk in 2006, she has focussed on orphan diseases, and led sales and marketing in the biopharmaceuticals business unit of the Swiss affiliate. Prior to that Zoë was aGlobal development manager at Prionis, Zurich, and an International Product Manager at Lyon-based BioMerieux, specialized food safety diagnostic technologies. After completing her PhD in 1996, she taught internationally before completing an INSEAD MBA in Singapore. A lifelong learner, Zoë completed in the meantime courses in drug development (Basel ECPM), Strategy in the Age of Digital transformation (INSEAD) and IN-Board (INSEAD).  She is an active member of her alumni communities: Oxford University, Sainsbury Management fellowship and INSEAD.

Laurent Dominique Piveteau

Laurent-Dominique Piveteau, MBA ’01D

Laurent-Dominique graduated with an MBA from INSEAD in 2001 and has been involved in the Swiss alumni community since 2004 as a member of the Geneva Chapter and vice president of the Swiss Healthcare Club. After graduating from ETH Zürich with a Master of Science in Physics and obtaining his PhD from the University of Fribourg, he worked as a research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Passionate about scientific and medical innovation and its transformation into commercial products, he then worked in a French biotechnology start up as head of scientific marketing and at EPFL in Lausanne in charge of establishing partnerships with industry for the School of Life Science. He is currently COO of Debiotech SA, a company specialized in the development of innovative medical devices, where he follows projects in the fields of diabetes, nephrology, vaccination and cardiology.

Arul Ramadurai

Kristie Vuong, MBA’18D

Based at Edwards Lifesciences European HQ in Nyon, Kristie is part of the Therapy Development team for Transcatheter Heart Valves, responsible for leading projects that improve patient education and awareness on aortic stenosis across Europe.  Kristie is also accountable for growing and enhancing Therapy Development programs and communications in the Netherlands, Nordics, Austria and Switzerland. Before joining Edwards Life Sciences in 2019, she was leveraging her distinctive background and entrepreneurial spirit in the areas of pharmaceutical and medical device sales, developing, and delivering medical education and development for HCPs, and honing her coffee skills in the Melbournian cafe she started. Kristie has an INSEAD MBA and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Monash University, Australia.
