Join us for an insightful session with Hans van der Wind (MBA’93J, MCCC’21Feb), former CEO and current Board Member of The Learning Network. A serial entrepreneur and investor in the educational services sector, he transformed Van Dijk Educatie into The Learning Network, the Netherlands’ largest educational service provider, sold the company in 2016, and, with a former colleague, reacquired it in 2022 through a strategic, complex re-purchase.
Expect practical takeaways on vision, leadership commitment and navigating challenges across a sale and a later re-purchase, including the decisions behind the 2016 sale and the path to the 2022 re-acquisition. The session will be held under the Chatham House Rule.

Hans van der Wind (MBA’93J, MCCC’21Feb-F) joined Van Dijk Educatie in 2001 as co-director, became CEO and transformed it into The Learning Network, growing it into the largest educational service provider in the Netherlands. He sold the company in 2016 to investment fund Towerbrook, remained CEO until the end of 2018 before becoming a Non-Executive, and together with a former colleague, reacquired The Learning Network in 2022 in a strategic and complex re-purchase. He now serves as Chairman of the Board.
