“Electric Vehicles as Central Assets in the Energy Transition”

May 6, 2024
6:30 pm - 9:15 pm

Sustainability Club and Energy Club invite you to the event:
“Electric Vehicles as Central Assets in the Energy Transition”
Kindly hosted by EVBox Monday, May 6, 2024

As the electrification of transport continues around the world, electric vehicles (EV) are becoming the largest energy asset in many households. They will play many roles: decarbonizing road transport, stabilizing the grid, powering homes, buffering excess rooftop solar power, etc.

However, despite this promise, EVs are still seen more as a problem rather than an asset, as the fast deployment of EV charging increases load on the electric grid while innovative demand-side technologies are still in their early stages.

What needs to happen for EVs to start playing the central role in the energy transition that they deserve? In a highly engaging manner, we will tackle this question together with an impressive group of panelists across the EV ecosystem and you, the INSEAD community.

The event will be kindly hosted by EVBox at their office in Amsterdam.
