Practical neuroscience for leadership (and life)

An interactive lecture to learn more about how our mind works, leveraging neuroscience and psychology; and how to better manage it (vs. let it manage us).

The session will be run by Cristina Escallón (MBA 95D), expert in personal and group transformation, leadership development and culture change, and will tackle questions such as: How does our mind work? How can we manage it more effectively and create more space in our minds? How can we use it in leadership – and life?

Cristina Escallón is a Senior Affiliate with Aberkyn / McKinsey and Eden McCallum, Affiliate Faculty at London Business School, and Programme Director at Oxford University Said Business School. She was previously Human Capital Strategy Director, Accenture. She has been a lecturer at INSEAD and senior advisor to Ashoka, the largest global network of social entrepreneurs; she has also run a leadership centre at INSEAD and the ‘Women Leading Change’ programme in the University of Dar es Salaam.

Moderator: Helen Hallpike (MBA 89D), Co-Chair, Careers Sector
