Our accomplished panellists will share their experiences and diverse perspectives on the importance of formative education for the development of youth, society and the collective future. Join us for a unique opportunity to hear the views of corporates, charities, businesses and individuals who seek to their address their passion for delivering the right of education for all.

 

Rose Caldwell is CEO of Plan International UK, an NGO dedicated to children’s rights and equality for girls. A chartered accountant, she spent a decade in the private sector before moving into international development, working in Burundi, Rwanda and Zimbabwe. Rose chairs the International Broadcasting Trust, is a trustee of the Disasters Emergency Committee and has previously served on the board of BOND and several other charities, including her local school. She is a leading voice for reform in the global aid system and helped develop the Pledge for Change initiative.

 

Suzanne Heywood CBE, Baroness Heywood of Whitehall, is COO of Exor Group and Chair of CNH Industrial and Iveco Group. After a decade sailing around the world as a child, she studied at Oxford and Cambridge, began her career at HM Treasury, and later became a senior partner at McKinsey before joining Exor. She was appointed CBE in 2024 for services to business leadership and is the author of Wavewalker, her memoir about her unconventional childhood and determination to build a different life.

 

Parminder Kohli is Chair of Shell UK and Shell’s Executive Vice President for Sustainability and Carbon. A Social Mobility Commissioner for the UK Government, he is known for building high-performing, diverse teams and was recognised in the INvolve global Advocate Role Model lists in 2022 and 2023. Parminder completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School and holds an MBA from IMD Switzerland.
