WIB & GEF

The IAAF Women in Business Club is dedicated to empowering women in business, with a specific focus on INSEAD Alumnae, through a transformative program. Our club operates across four key areas.

First and foremost, we actively challenge negative biases towards women in business and society. We have proudly signed the « Always with Her Charter » and are strong partners with GEF (Grandes Ecoles au Féminin), actively advocating for gender equity as signatories of the « Charte de la Mixité. » Additionally, we collaborate with the 2GAP initiative, which aims to bridge gender gaps in the media. GEF initiative is led by Chloe Andriamihaja (MAP’17).

Secondly, we are currently developing a program to support Alumna founders, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources for success. This initiative is fueled by Chia Roxas (MBA’17J) and Myriam Ferran (EMBA’12Dec). If you are an Alumna founder, reach out to us. Furthermore, we understand the power of networking and are in the process of building a vibrant community within France. Simultaneously, we actively connect with other Women in Business Clubs around the world with the iWIB initiative led by Anne Dumesges (MBA’07D).

Lastly, we firmly believe that a gender-balanced society is a force for good. We wholeheartedly embrace collaboration with men, recognizing the vital role they play in achieving our shared goal of gender balance. We stand by the principle that it is always with him. So, all members are welcome.

If you would like to join our team as a volunteer, we invite you to reach out to Frederique Soblik at [email protected] (EMBA’15Dec and WIB France Lead).

By becoming part of our team, you will receive more information about our initiatives and how you can contribute. You are ALL welcome.

Together, let’s make a meaningful difference and create a more inclusive business world.

The Group of Grandes Écoles for Women (GEF) brings together representatives from alumni associations of 10 prestigious schools: Centrale Paris, ENA, ENPC, ESCP Europe, ESSEC, HEC, INSEAD, Les MINES, POLYTECHNIQUE, and Sciences Po.

GEF is an observatory for the professional situation of women executives, and conducts a GEF Study every two years to assess the professional situation of female graduates from the grandes écoles, and its evolution. The 9th study is titled « What still keeps women away from leadership positions in France? ».

GEF collects testimonies from leaders of large companies during GEF Breakfasts. The format is both dense and friendly; the theme is women’s access to leadership positions. The goal is to gather good practices they have experimented with in their company, pitfalls to avoid, and to share the commitments they plan to make on this topic.

Once a year, GEFstartup organizes a challenge for women with a business creation project.

Over a weekend, the projects are presented, selected, and then developed with expert coaches, legal or financial advisors, entrepreneurs or designers. The winners are awarded prizes that will help them continue to realize their projects.

Beyond events, INSEAD Alumni France has been a signatory of the GEF Diversity Charter since 2021. To follow GEF, contribute to our action or register for our events: http://www.grandesecolesaufeminin.fr/

In addition to our commitment within GEF, we are also engaged with 2GAP, whose mission is to make women’s participation in political, economic, social and ecological resolution more effective, visible, recognized, and a driving force for a fairer society.

If you would like to volunteer or have questions for those initiatives, please connect with us.
