Between the pressures of performance, the ever-changing tech landscape, a fickle consumer and a quick-to-disengage employee, the dynamics and required qualities of leadership have been mutating. What role for new tech as a leader? How can AI be used to make you more effective? It’s time to review some of your dyed-in-the-wool principles and beliefs about leadership to adopt a new mindset. But you might ask yourself:  how to develop that self-awareness? Am I not too old to change? How do I go about bringing that change to bear in myself and my team?

This conference will:
•    offer a constructive method for figuring out your path to transformation
•    give you insights on the five qualities to evaluate a successful leader for tomorrow
•    help you to flex your empathic muscle in the right way and at the right time
•    will put you on a track to better manage your communications and your own personal brand

This interactive session will be facilitated by Minter Dial (MBA’93J), a professional speaker, author and consultant, specialised in branding, new tech and digital strategy.

Minter is the author and producer of the award-winning book and film The Last Ring Home and co-author of Futureproof. His newest book Heartificial Empathy, Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence won the Book Excellence Award 2019 and was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2019. After a successful 16-year international career at L’Oréal, including being head of Redken Worldwide and on the Executive Committee worldwide of the L’Oreal Professional Products Division, Minter Dial returned to his entrepreneurial roots to become a thought-leader, author, consultant and professional speaker. He runs the Mydial Company, based out of London, focusing on leadership and transformation.
